MISSION
IKORO Forum is a non-profit organization whose mission is in three categories: Creativity, Solidarity & Advocacy.
Creativity
We create, we encourage creativity and we mobilize creative ventures. We are creative in promoting Igbo culture, tradition and language, through documentation and archiving. Provide access to valid and legitimate information. Developments of ideas, strategies and policies for the welfare of Ndi Igbo. To provide long-term programmes that contributes to sustainable and holistic change in thinking patterns. Empowerment and enabling through education, trainings and awareness programmes.
Solidarity
To stand in solidarity with Ndi Igbo in pursuit of peace, justice and human political, economic, social, cultural developments. To establish and build network between Igbo homeland and diaspora.
Advocacy
A Platform for Advocacy and give the voiceless a voice and defend the vulnerable. Advocacy in defence of human rights.
VISION
A non-profit driven association that provides the members a digital village square where the IKORO summons every Nwa Igbo, every daughter and son of Igbo extraction, home and in diaspora to form an imagined assembly, and jointly find answers to pertinent questions and solutions to pressing issues facing Ndi Igbo in Nigeria and in diaspora by examining and interrogating ourselves and our realities. We SWOT to analyse and understand the matters concerning Ndi Igbo today and for the future.
